Spring is Here!

I have realized that creating this blog has not captured my mother's attention quite yet. I just dont understand! I try and try, but, because of her many tasks as bishops wife, mom, taxi, advisor, etc... she just doesnt have the time to start blogging. Therefore, I have taken the courtesy to update you all. The cold weather has finally passed and it's warm again! Good ol' Texas! I can always count on her to change up the temperature! After Church today, Emily and I decided to have a picnic outside because the nice weather was TOO tempting... It was SO nice!
Here's some of today:

Homecoming 2k6

Hello Everyone...
i see my mother has not yet attempted to post a blog yet, well, you know how mom's are... busy busy... so i guess i will post you a couple pictures from Prosper's Homecoming...

Me and my friends getting ready in mom's bathroom full of mirrors :)

Taking pictures out by the pond...

All lined up... (notice my bright red shoes ;)

My date (Bryan) and I

My Best Friends

Homecoming was WAY fun! Friday was spirit day and i wore my bulging mum that bryan gave me (yes they STILL do mums in texas haha) and it was the game against Whitesboro.
We won 37 to 13!!! Then Saturday was the dance. We went to eat at Bucca de Beppo first in Northpark (because the Frisco one was already booked!) and it ended up being the best part. The dance was pretty fun too...
Now that Homecoming is all over, i actually have to focus on my work now :(
But thats how life is in Prosper!
Yeah sooo thats whats been going down lately...

Until next time!

The start of something new

Due to my mother not knowing anything of the internet and cyber world, i have taken courtesy of
helping her create a Blog. So this is our Platt Family Blog. Our family consists of 7 major elements:
1. Richard aka Dad
2. Christa aka Mom
3. Laura
4. Rachel
5. Daniel
6. Erin
7. Emily
All of whom are contributors to a most entertaining and loving family. Living conditions are quite well, often quiet due to a decrease in family size. Dad serving as a bishop to the ward and nontheless a father and employee. Mom serving as a mother, grandmother and primary chorister. Laura married off and content with two dear children. Rachel out and about with a job and her son. Daniel serving the Taiwanese people. Erin (me) attending to her summer festivities. Emily doing the same. "Quite quiet for a quick passing moment" as a poet once said.
